Recap: Queens Teaching vs. Bowne Wildcats
This season hasn't been kind to Queens Teaching, who are still winless after their fourth contest. They took a 67-56 hit to the loss column at the hands of Bowne on Tuesday. Queens Teaching has struggled against Bowne recently, as their match on Tuesday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Leading Bowne to victory were Christopher Judge and Khaleel Williams-Mitchell. Judge scored 28 points along with eight rebounds and six steals, while Williams-Mitchell dropped a double-double on 26 points and 11 rebounds. The match was Judge's seventh in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Josiah Salmon, who scored seven points along with ten rebounds and four steals.
Queens Teaching's loss was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-4. That rough patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.8 points per game. As for Bowne, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-1.
