Basketball Game Preview: Northview Chiefs vs. Milton Panthers

Northview is 0-7 against Milton since December of 2016 but things could change on Tuesday. The Chiefs will square off against the Panthers at 6:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Two weeks ago, Northview came up short against Escambia and fell 34-26.

Despite the defeat, Northview got top-tier performance from Daviona Randolph, who almost dropped a double-double with 18 points and nine steals. Another player making a difference was MaKayla Plato, who posted no points and four steals.

Meanwhile, Milton lost to Niceville at home by a 47-29 margin on Monday. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Milton's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Northview, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Northview took a serious blow against Milton in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, falling 51-3. Can the Chiefs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
