Basketball Game Preview: Golden City Eagles vs. Greenfield Wildcats

Golden City is 0-5 against Greenfield since February of 2015 but things could change on Monday. The Golden City Eagles will host the Greenfield Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Last Friday, 2025 welcomed Golden City with a 90-70 loss courtesy of Hurley.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Greenfield duked it out withEarly last Friday. The game between Greenfield and Early didn't end well, with Greenfield falling 61-44.

Greenfield has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season. As for Golden City, their loss dropped their record down to 4-8.

Golden City came up short against Greenfield in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, falling 59-49. Can Golden City avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
