Softball Recap: Madison Adiar Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Lake Stevens

It's playoff time, and Rogers had no trouble coming through when it counted. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Lake Stevens Vikings a 2-0 shutout on Friday. Give the Rams' pitching crew some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

The result came thanks to Sierra Murray's shutout, as she gave up just four hits and racked up ten Ks. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 23 consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Rogers saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Madison Adiar, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Rogers' win bumped their record up to 24-4. As for Lake Stevens, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-10.

As of now, neither Rogers nor the Vikings have any future games scheduled.
