Basketball Recap: Sandalwood Comes Up Short

Sandalwood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a 66-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mandarin Mustangs. While losing is never fun, the Saints can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 438th, while the Mustangs are ranked 168th).

Sandalwood's loss dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Mandarin, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 14-4.

Sandalwood has already played their next match (against First Coast), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Mandarin wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 61-47 win against KIPP Bold City on the 16th.
