Volleyball Recap: Summit Academy Takes a Loss

Summit Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Orem Tigers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bears of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2020.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-10, 25-7.

Summit Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Orem, their win was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-2.

Summit Academy has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Rowland Hall on the 19th. As for Orem, they will challenge Mountain View at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
