Baseball Recap: West Cabarrus Takes a Loss

West Cabarrus made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Hickory Ridge, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Wolverines fell just short of the Ragin' Bulls by a score of 4-2 on Thursday. The Wolverines haven't had much luck with the Ragin' Bulls recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

West Cabarrus' loss dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Hickory Ridge, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season.

West Cabarrus does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hickory Ridge, they will square off against Ballantyne Ridge at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The Ragin' Bulls are facing the Wolves at the right time seeing as the Wolves are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
