If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Doherty Memorial. On Friday they take on St. Peter-Marian at Foley Field at 6:30 PM. Doherty Memorial are cruising in on a three-game winning streak while St. Peter-Marian are stumbling in off of three consecutive losses.

Last Friday, Doherty Memorial had a bit more than a touchdown to spare in a 14-0 win over Tantasqua Regional.

Meanwhile, St. Peter-Marian came up short against Concord-Carlisle, falling 14-28.

Doherty Memorial's victory lifted them to 3-0 while St. Peter-Marian's loss dropped them down to 0-3. We'll see if Doherty Memorial's success rolls on or if St. Peter-Marian are able to steal their positive momentum.
