Basketball Recap: Washington Union Panthers vs. Kerman Lions
Washington Union was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 81-59 to the Kerman Lions. The Panthers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Lions earlier this season, when they won 66-64.
Daniel Bibioff was his usual excellent self, going 19-for-27 en route to 48 points in addition to five assists and five steals for Kerman. Bibioff's evening made it 15 games in a row in which he has scored at least 29 points. Von Bibioff was another key player, going 8-for-10 to rack up 18 points.
Washington Union's loss dropped their record down to 4-23. As for Kerman, their win was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 15-11.
Washington Union does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Kerman, they will host Torres at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Kerman's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 17 games.
