St. John is 0-10 against The Academy of the Holy Cross since March of 2021 but things could change on Thursday. The Cadets will challenge the Tartans at 6:00 p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

St. John's took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Bishop McNamara as they made off with a 3-0 victory.

St. John's not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Bishop McNamara between 16 and 18 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-18, 25-17.

Meanwhile, two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only The Academy of the Holy Cross walked away with it. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Roadrunners on Tuesday. The win was nothing new for the Tartans as they're now sitting on seven straight.
