La Center had already won 14 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.4 runs) and they went ahead and made it 15 on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by an 11-0 margin over the Fort Vancouver Trappers. Considering the Wildcats have won 11 matchups by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Gunnar Schockelt and Jakob Thomas made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, Schockelt didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out ten over four innings pitched. Meanwhile, Thomas tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Schockelt has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one walk in seven consecutive appearances. At the plate, Schockelt got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one triple and one run, while Thomas went a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. That's the most runs Thomas has posted since back in April.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Wyatt Brannan, who got on base in two of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Will Anderson, who went 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

La Center pushed their record up to 18-3 with the win, which was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Fort Vancouver, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-13.

Fort Vancouver wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 10-5 defeat against Evergreen on the 7th. Hopefully La Center paid attention to the Trappers' contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Trappers at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
