Basketball Recap: Harrison Snags Tenth Victory in Last 13 Games

Harrison came tearing into Tuesday's match with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8 points) and they left with even more momentum. They enjoyed a cozy 70-56 victory over the Siloam Springs Panthers. Given the Goblins' advantage in MaxPreps' Arkansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 17th, while the Panthers are ranked 63rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Harrison has also been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 13 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season. As for Siloam Springs, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Harrison will head out to take on Van Buren at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Harrison knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Van Buren likes a good challenge. Siloam Springs has already played their next match (against Greenwood), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
