Softball Game Preview: Manasquan Warriors vs. Pinelands Regional Wildcats

The Manasquan Warriors will head out to face off against the Pinelands Regional Wildcats at 10:00 a.m. on Monday. Manasquan is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.

On Thursday, Manasquan came up short against Wall Township and fell 8-4. That's two games in a row now that the Warriors have lost by exactly four runs.

Meanwhile, Pinelands Regional has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.27 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Saturday. They lost 11-4 to Howell. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Wildcats have suffered since April 26, 2024.

Manasquan's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Pinelands Regional, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 10-1.

Manasquan couldn't quite get it done against Pinelands Regional in their previous matchup on April 3rd as they fell 5-2. Can the Warriors avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
