Volleyball Game Preview: Bradford Owls vs. Johnsonburg Rams + How To Watch

The Bradford Owls will challenge the Johnsonburg Rams at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. The timing is sure in Bradford's favor as the team sits on four straight wins at home while Johnsonburg has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road.

On Tuesday, Bradford came up short against Elk County Catholic and fell 3-1.

Bradford started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 25-16, 25-16, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Johnsonburg made easy work of Kane on Tuesday and carried off a 3-0 victory. The Rams haven't had any issues with the Wolves recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

While Johnsonburg won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-18, 25-23.

Bradford better focus on containing Gracie Cherry and Mari Dennis as the pair were huge in Johnsonburg's win. Cherry had 14 digs and two aces, while Dennis had 31 digs and three aces. Cherry has been hot for a while, having also posted 17 or more assists the last 13 times she's played.

Bradford's defeat dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Johnsonburg, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.
