Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Lake Central walked away with it. They had just enough and edged out the Boone Grove Wolves 3-2. Winning may never get old, but the Indians sure are getting used to it with their ninth in a row.

Brady Cook was the offensive standout of the match as he had 27 assists and six digs. That's the most assists he has posted since back in April.

Despite the loss, Boone Grove still got an impressive performance from Ryder McCoy, who had 39 digs and eight aces. McCoy is on a roll when it comes to digs, as he's now had 17 or more in each of the last six games he's played. Another player making a difference was Levi McCoy, who had 22 digs and one assist.

Lake Central's victory bumped their record up to 28-6. As for Boone Grove, the loss snapped their winning streak at 15 games and leaves them with a 24-4 record.

Lake Central didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Washington Township on the 24th. Boone Grove does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
