Cumby's defense stepped up to hand Pioneer Tech & Arts Academy a 2-0 shutout on Friday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Trojans.

Meanwhile, North Hopkins came up short against Cooper on Friday and fell 58-48.

North Hopkins' defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-6. As for Cumby, they now have a winning record of 11-10.
