Football Recap: Baird Comes Up Short

Baird lost against Bryson back in November of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bears were dealt a 50-6 defeat at the hands of the Cowboys.

Tyson Goodwin threw for 58 yards on eight of 30 attempts. On the ground, Kendell Miller rushed for 87 yards on only six carries.

Baird's loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Bryson, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Baird will face off against Highland at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Bryson, they are taking a road trip to take on Throckmorton at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
