Basketball Recap: Bennington Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Bennington, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. Everything went their way against the Maysville Warriors on Friday as the Bennington Bears made off with a 53-28 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Bears have posted since November 11, 2024.

Bennington pushed their record up to 12-8 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.3 points over those games. As for Maysville, they are on a 15-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-19.

Bennington wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 38-37 victory against Boswell on the 15th. Maysville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
