Football Game Preview: Whitman-Hanson Regional Panthers vs. Duxbury Dragons

Whitman-Hanson Regional is 0-9 against Duxbury since October of 2015 but things could change on Thursday. The Panthers will face off against the Dragons at 7:00 p.m. Whitman-Hanson Regional has given up an average of 38.3 points per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Friday, Whitman-Hanson Regional had to suffer through a 40-12 loss at the hands of Silver Lake Regional.

Meanwhile, Duxbury won against Silver Lake Regional last Friday with 37 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. The Dragons came out on top against Plymouth North by a score of 37-27. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Dragons.

Duxbury now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Whitman-Hanson Regional, their loss dropped their record down to 0-7.

Whitman-Hanson Regional lost to Duxbury on the road by a decisive 26-7 margin when the teams last played back in October of 2024. Can the Panthers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
