Football Game Preview: Pequannock Golden Panthers vs. Jefferson Township Falcons

The Pequannock Golden Panthers are taking a road trip to face off against the Jefferson Township Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Pequannock will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each contest than the last.

Pequannock is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Sussex County Tech, posting a 34-6 win. The Golden Panthers haven't had any issues with Sussex County Tech recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Jefferson Township ended up a good deal behind Sparta on Friday and lost 54-35. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey football rankings (they are ranked 241st, while the Spartans are ranked 107th).

Jefferson Township's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Pequannock, their win bumped their record up to 3-5.
