Basketball Recap: Fisher Catholic Makes It Eight in a Row on the Road

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Fisher Catholic). They snuck past the Westfall Mustangs with a 56-50 victory on Saturday. The win was familiar territory for the Irish who have now won four games in a row.

Fisher Catholic pushed their record up to 7-1 with the victory, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.9 points per game. As for Westfall, they moved to 5-3 with that defeat, which also ended their five-game winning streak.

Fisher Catholic will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Patriot Prep Academy at 12:30 p.m. on January 4, 2025. Westfall and Circleville will round out the year against one another at at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
