Football Recap: Newberry Triumphs

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Newberry had no problem doing just that on Monday. They came out on top against the Florida School for the Deaf & Blind Dragons by a score of 26-19.

Newberry now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Florida School for the Deaf & Blind, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-8.

Looking ahead, Newberry will face off against Bradford at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Tornadoes' defense has only allowed 7.4 points per game this season, so the Panthers' offense will have their work cut out for them. Florida School for the Deaf & Blind does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
