Baseball Recap: J.L. Mann Patriots vs. Greenwood Eagles
J.L. Mann waltzed into their match on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They never let the Greenwood Eagles get on the board and left with a 4-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 10-3 on Tuesday.
Dawson Siffri made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two hits in five consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run and two RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March.

In other pitching news, J.L. Mann got a great performance from Josh Carlson as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out nine over six innings pitched. The Patriots are undefeated when Carlson allows three or fewer hits, but 6-7 otherwise.
Back at the plate, Griffin King was excellent, going 1-for-4 with one home run. McLeod Darnell was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one run and one double.
