Baseball Recap: Santa Maria Picks Up Eighth Consecutive Victory

Santa Maria never let their opponents score on Friday. Everything went their way against the Mira Monte Lions as Santa Maria made off with a 10-0 victory. The Saints might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matches by six runs or more this season.

Santa Maria got a massive performance out of Dominic Martin, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-3. That's the most stolen bases Martin has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Julius Medina, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-3.

Santa Maria hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Mira Monte struck out 11 times.
