Recap: Johnson Eagles vs. Keith Bears
The Johnson Eagles lost against the Keith Bears last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Johnson took a serious blow against the Bears, falling 94-25. While losing is never fun, Johnson can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 470th, while the Bears are ranked 180th).
Tommy Tisdale III continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Keith, scoring 51 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Tisdale III has scored all season. Titus Lanier was another key contributor, scoring 16 points.
Johnson's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Keith, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 15-8.
Johnson does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Keith will head out on the road to face off against the Jaguars at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Wilcox Central is on a five-game streak of home wins, the Bears a four-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court.
