Meanwhile, even though Lackey scored an imposing 55 points on Wednesday, Northern still came out on top. Northern walked away with a 65-55 win over Lackey. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Northern.
Calvert's loss was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 2-12. As for Northern, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season.
