Soccer Recap: La Porte Takes a Loss

La Porte was the 2-1 winner over Friendswood when they last played one another back in March of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The La Porte Bulldogs lost 4-1 to the Friendswood Mustangs on Friday. The Bulldogs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 3-0.

La Porte has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-5-1 record this season. As for Friendswood, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-6-1.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Texas City the next time they take the pitch. La Porte will head out to face Texas City at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Friendswood will host them at 7:30 p.m. on January 31st.
