Volleyball Recap: Baylor Starts Season with Victory at Home

Baylor gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Monday. They put the hurt on the Chattanooga School for the Arts & Sciences Patriots with a sharp 3-0 victory.

While Baylor won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 26-24, 25-7.

Despite the loss, Chattanooga School for the Arts & Sciences still got an impressive performance from Brynne Burkhart, who had 13 digs and four aces. Savannah Moore was another key player, getting nine kills and nine digs.

Baylor has already played their next game (against Notre Dame), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Chattanooga School for the Arts & Sciences, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Chattanooga Girls Leadership Academy on the 19th.
