Soccer Game Preview: Lansing vs. West

The Lansing Lions will head out to take on the West Chargers at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lansing's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for six straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Lansing came up short against Spring Hill on Tuesday, falling 6-1.

Meanwhile, West managed to keep up with South until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Chargers lost 5-0 to the Cougars.

West has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-6-2 record this season. As for Lansing, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-11-1.

Everything went Lansing's way against West in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, as Lansing made off with a 3-0 victory. Will the Lions repeat their success, or do the Chargers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
