The Pinecrest Prep Crocs can finally bid farewell to their nine-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Wednesday. They walked away with a 51-41 win over Palm Glades Prep Academy. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Pinecrest Prep has managed all season.
It was another big night for Gabriel Guzman , who scored 34 points along with five steals. The match was Guzman 's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jason Cesar, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds.
Pinecrest Prep's win ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-4. As for Palm Glades Prep Academy, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pinecrest Prep's road trip will continue as they head out to face Archimedean at 6:00 p.m. on December 8th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Florida (Archimedean is ranked 620th, while Pinecrest Prep is ranked 629th). As for Palm Glades Prep Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Coral Shores at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
