Soccer Recap: Branchville Comes Up Short

Branchville lost against Charleston Math & Science back in May of 2017, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Branchville Yellow Jackets fell just short of the Charleston Math & Science Riptide by a score of 3-2. The Yellow Jackets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Colton Fogle and Ashton Preast scored both of Branchville's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Branchville's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Charleston Math & Science, they now have a winning record of 2-1-1.

Branchville didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Denmark-Olar on the 10th. As for Charleston Math & Science, they will challenge Military Magnet Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
