Volleyball Recap: Center Grove Comes Up Short in High-Profile Match with Fishers

Center Grove faced Fishers in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Trojans fell 2-0 to the Tigers. If the Trojans were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Tigers when the teams met back in March of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-13.

Jadyn Mccrory paced Center Grove's offense, picking up seven kills. Mccrory got some help from Silas Zathang and his ten assists.

Center Grove's defeat dropped their record down to 18-6-1. As for Fishers, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 24-2.

Center Grove has already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against Franklin Community on the 9th. As for Fishers, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Homestead on the 9th.
