Volleyball Recap: Argonaut Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Argonaut was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Liberty Ranch Hawks, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Argonaut was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Liberty Ranch work for it, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 26-24, 25-11, 25-21.

Argonaut's offense was headlined by Player #2 and AJ Schultz, who picked up six kills apiece. They got some help from Mia Maggi and her 19 assists. She was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Argonaut's loss dropped their record down to 13-15. As for Liberty Ranch, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-13 record this season.

Argonaut didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 defeat against John Adams Academy - El Dorado Hills on the 8th. As for Liberty Ranch, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against El Dorado on the 9th.
