Baseball Recap: Memorial Comes Up Short

Memorial managed to slip by Springfield the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Red Devils lost 11-1 to the Tigers on Tuesday. The Red Devils were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Tigers earlier this season, when they won 9-7.

Memorial's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Springfield, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Looking ahead, Memorial will host Chaney at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Springfield, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Springfield Tigers challenge Struthers Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
