Volleyball Game Preview: Como-Pickton Eagles vs. North Hopkins Panthers

Como-Pickton is 2-8 against North Hopkins since October of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Eagles will be playing in front of their home fans against the Panthers at 4:30 p.m. Como-Pickton will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

It was a Battle of the Birds when Como-Pickton took on Yantis on Tuesday. The Eagles blew past the Owls 3-0.

One reason for the win was Como-Pickton's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-14, 25-8.

Meanwhile, North Hopkins didn't have quite enough to beat Mildred on Tuesday and fell 3-2.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, North Hopkins sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 21-25, 28-26, 16-25, 16-14.

North Hopkins' defeat dropped their record down to 35-6. As for Como-Pickton, their win bumped their record up to 26-11.
