Baseball Recap: Herndon Comes Up Short

Herndon was the 4-2 winner over Washington-Liberty when they last played one another back in April of 2025, but their luck changed this time around. The Hornets fell just short of the Generals by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. The Hornets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Herndon's loss dropped their record down to 12-8. As for Washington-Liberty, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-10.

While Herndon had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
