Basketball Recap: Chickasha Takes a Loss

If Chickasha was riding high fresh off their 58-18 takedown of Cache last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Chickasha Fighting Chicks were dealt a 58-26 defeat at the hands of the Community Christian Royals on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, the Fighting Chicks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 152nd, while the Royals are ranked 32nd).

Chickasha's loss dropped their record down to 12-10. As for Community Christian, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 17-0.

Looking ahead, Chickasha will square off against Anadarko at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Community Christian, they will face off against Casady at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Community Christian's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five matches.
