Wright City entered their tilt with Lone Grove on Saturday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They pulled ahead with a 52-51 photo finish over the Lone Grove Longhorns. Given the Lumberjax's advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 46th, while the Longhorns are ranked 296th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Wright City pushed their record up to 13-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.2 points per game. As for Lone Grove, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wright City will welcome Haworth at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Wright City is facing Haworth at the right time seeing as Haworth is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Lone Grove, they will square off against Plainview at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
