Lincoln-Way Central lost to Lincoln-Way West back in February, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Lincoln-Way Central Knights walked away with a 66-56 win over the Lincoln-Way West Warriors. Winning may never get old, but the Knights sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Lincoln-Way Central pushed their record up to 7-3 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Lincoln-Way West, they moved to 5-4 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Lincoln-Way Central will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Providence Catholic at 2:30 p.m. on January 4, 2025. As for Lincoln-Way West, they will be taking part in a tournament against Naperville Central at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lincoln-Way West knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven matchups -- so hopefully Naperville Central likes a good challenge.
