Softball Recap: Carroll Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Carroll can now relate to. They came up short against the Clinton Prairie Gophers on Friday, falling 12-1. The matchup marked the Cougars' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Carroll saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bree Hoke, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run.

Carroll's loss dropped their record down to 12-8. As for Clinton Prairie, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 19-8.

As of now, neither Carroll nor the Gophers have any future games scheduled.
