Football Recap: Kofa Kings vs. River Valley Dust Devils        
        
		
             Kofa was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Friday as the team picked up their 14th straight  loss. They took a  blow against the River Valley Dust Devils, falling  49-0. Having soared to a lofty 34  points in the game before, the Kings' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.
  Jayden Plotkin was  his usual excellent self, rushing for 125 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries for River Valley. Plotkin's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his sixth straight game with at least 125  rushing yards dating back to last season.
 Kofa's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for River Valley, the  victory for them keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.
 Kofa will challenge Yuma at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Kofa is facing Yuma at the right time seeing as Yuma is stuck on  a  four-game losing streak. As for River Valley, they will host Wickenburg  at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday. River Valley knows how to get  points on the board -- the  squad has finished with 31 point or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Wickenburg likes a good challenge.
