Basketball Game Preview: Tucson High Magnet School Badgers vs. Mica Mountain Thunderbolts

The Tucson High Magnet School Badgers just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Mica Mountain Thunderbolts at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

On Thursday, Tucson High Magnet School was beaten by Basha 64-37. While losing is never fun, the Badgers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked 90th, while the Bears are ranked 33rd).

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Mica Mountain, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. They simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat Poston Butte 70-36. The Thunderbolts' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Mica Mountain's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Tucson High Magnet School, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-5 record this season.
