Soccer Game Preview: Pace vs. Gulf Breeze

Pace hasn't had much luck against Gulf Breeze recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Patriots will look to defend their home pitch against the Dolphins at 7:30 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Pace's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out Navarre 1-0. Pace's winning goal came courtesy of Katelyn Borchik.

Meanwhile, Wednesday just wasn't the day for Gulf Breeze's offense. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of South Walton on Wednesday. The shutout was out of character for Gulf Breeze seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in December of 2025.

The win made it two in a row for Pace and bumps their season record up to 10-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored ten goals over those two contests. As for Gulf Breeze, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-5-2.
