Basketball Recap: Christian Liberty Takes a Loss

They fell just short of the Victory Christian Academy Lions by a score of 31-28 on Friday. The Chargers' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Victory Christian Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Lucie Carter, who posted 11 points along with five boards and four steals. Carter is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last five games she's played. Amariah Jankowski was another key player, putting up 14 points.

Christian Liberty's loss dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Victory Christian Academy, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-12.
