Westridge extended their winning streak to six games thanks to a huge performance from Sydney Erum. The Tigers walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Viewpoint Patriots on Saturday thanks in part to Erum, who had five aces and three digs. She is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Westridge's win bumped their record up to 12-8. As for Viewpoint, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 11-5 record.

Westridge and Viewpoint could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps California Rankings. The Tigers will challenge Polytechnic at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday with a big rank disadvantage (380 vs. 89). Meanwhile, Viewpoint (ranked 253rd) will meet Campbell Hall (ranked 114th) at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
