Volleyball Recap: St. Mark's Comes Up Short

St. Mark was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They came up short against the Newark Charter School Patriots, falling 3-0. The Spartans were not able to make up for their loss to the Patriots from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

St. Mark's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Newark Charter School, with the victory, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-8.

Looking ahead, St. Mark's will be playing in front of their home fans against Archmere Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Newark Charter School, they will take on Delaware Military Academy at 6:15 p.m. on Monday.
