Volleyball Recap: Bishop Guilfoyle Comes Up Short

Bishop Guilfoyle was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Clearfield Bison. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Marauders of the 3-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-10, 25-11.

Bishop Guilfoyle's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Clearfield, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Bishop Guilfoyle is set to face off against their familiar foe Huntingdon at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Clearfield will take on rival Philipsburg-Osceola at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
