Taylorville entered their tilt with Mendon Unity on Saturday with seven consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with eight. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Mustangs. That's more bragging rights for the Tornadoes, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Leading Taylorville to victory were Molly Smith and Alayna Vincent. Smith had six aces and three digs, while Vincent had ten kills and seven digs. That's the most digs Vincent has posted over her last six matches. Brogan Anderson was another key player, getting ten digs and one assist.

Taylorville's win bumped their record up to 30-5. As for Mendon Unity, the defeat snapped their winning streak at ten matches and leaves them with a 30-5 record.
