After failing to score in their last matchup, Spring Valley made sure to put some goals up on the board against Ridge View on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Ridge View Blazers as they made off with an 8-0 win. That looming 8-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Vikings yet this season.

Their offense was hitting Ridge View from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Marie Conroy led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

The victory got Spring Valley back to even at 5-5. As for Ridge View, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Spring Valley will be playing in front of their home fans against Westwood at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Ridge View, they will head out on the road to take on Lugoff-Elgin at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Ridge View will be up against Lugoff-Elgin's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.14 goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
