Basketball Recap: Algoma's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

If Algoma was feeling good fresh off their 83-54 takedown of Oconto last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wolves fell just short of the Peshtigo Bulldogs by a score of 67-64 on Tuesday. The Wolves were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February.

Having lost for the first time this season, Algoma fell to 2-1. As for Peshtigo, their win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-0.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Algoma is set to square off against their familiar foe Sevastopol at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Peshtigo will face off against rival Gibraltar at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
